5 Tips at the Start of your Digital Transformation

5 Tips at the Start of your Digital Transformation

The first step is the hardest thing when your company is going to start the digital transformation. It may be about colleagues and managers who need to be convinced. The changes may seem great and perhaps overwhelming. Often, the focus is unfortunately on the challenges when you should take care of the enormous opportunities that digitalization brings.

A digital transformation is not about betting everything on new technology or to let everything disappear in a cloud. No, it’s about concrete improvements that create real value for your customers. Here are some tips that may be useful in the starting pits of your company’s digital journey.

Digital Transformation Tips

1. Start talking about the digital throughout the company

Such an important reform as the digital affects everyone. It should not be owned by just one department at the company, as virtually all departments and areas of your business will have important roles to play. If you start talking about the departments, you will probably notice that the need for development exists.

2. Get the lead on the train

Absolutely, the thoughts of digital transformation can, of course, start at the grassroots level and from there gain ground in your company. But in the end, it is still the management that needs to make the decision about a transformation, partly because the budget needs to be ensured, but also that the change will require time.

3. Get inspiration outside your own industry

Often there are innovative ideas to be inspired by in other industries than your own. In the United States, Starbucks thinks like a mobile technology company, while Domino wants to be the Amazon. They realize that they have to think in the same way as other major companies in order to successfully compete with their pace.

4. Understand what your market needs

It is the market that drives the digital transformation, not the companies. In a market that’s already digital, your business needs to discover how to satisfy the needs out there.

When the company Kodak would make changes when digital images were in progress, they made the mistake of asking only existing customers what they wanted. Then, of course, the answer was “better photo paper“. So it’s about having your eyes open to the entire market you are active in and not just niche part of it.

5. Use your customer data

A first step may be to seriously start studying your customers. One of the things that make it easier to work with digital business is that everything can be measured at all times. Everything can also change, quite simply. The challenge is to take advantage of the opportunity.

However, it is far from all Australian companies that make measurements of customer behavior in their digital channels, and even fewer that adapt to customers’ digital behaviors. So by placing a gear in this area, you have a lot to win.

6. Find a partner

Making a digital transformation poses a challenge to many companies, and taking out help can be an effective way to speed up and get digitalization in the right direction.

Choose a partner who understands or can quickly enter your market and have knowledge of how digital can be a way forward for your business. In addition to internal changes, there is a lot to bite into digital marketing, a. the mechanisms of social media, understanding of databases, content marketing, search engine optimization and keyword marketing.

Frequently asked questions at the Dantal clinic

Frequently asked questions at the Dantal clinic

What is tartar, why do you get bad breath and should you use a toothbrush? In this post you will find answers to some of the most common questions we get at the Dental clinic here at Werribee

What is tartar?

Toothbrush can be described as bacterial coatings / plaques in the mouth that over time mineralize and solidifies. This is a process that can go relatively fast but it varies from patient to patient. Toothbrush needs to be removed at regular intervals. The frequency of removal needed depends on different factors and is judged from patient to patient.

What toothpaste do you recommend?

In the case of toothpaste there is a wealth of choice, but the most important thing with the toothpaste is that it contains fluorine. Most dental creams today have the recommended fluorine amount, but there are some varieties on the market that do not contain fluoride.

Usually it is clear on the packaging and they are usually only sold in different health food stores. Toothpaste without fluoride is NOT recommended, as the fluor is needed 2 times a day when brushing to prevent and protect against caries. There are several studies that demonstrate the positive effect of fluoride.

If you have sensitive dentures, you should use a toothpaste without abrasives. (ex Sensodyne, Colgate Pro relief)

If you have sensitive mucous membranes, it is good to use a toothpaste without SLS foaming agent.

I’m feeling bad breath – what’s the matter?

The most common cause of bad breath is bacteria in the mouth. Then in the form of coatings on the teeth, between the teeth or on the tongue. If you also have tartar this may contribute. To avoid this, it is important to be careful when cleaning your teeth.

Toothbrush 2 times / day for 2 minutes, preferably with an electric toothbrush, and daily cleansing between your teeth – there is often more plaque / leftovers between your teeth than you can think. In some cases, bad breath may be due to other things, such as various gastrointestinal diseases.

Is the toothbrush better than a regular manual toothbrush?

The answer is really short and good YES. But you can definitely do with a regular toothbrush if you use it properly and be sure to brush everywhere for a long time.

There are several studies that show that the toothbrush removes more plaques more efficiently. It is also easier for you as the toothbrush takes care of the big work – you really only control it in your mouth. Most eland brushes also say every 30 seconds so you know when to change quadrant and after 2 minutes it will say when you’re done.

Many also have the function of blowing red or red if you press too hard – which is great because you do not get toothbrush damage that can easily occur when brushing too hard (even with a manual toothbrush!).

Should I rinse with fluorine rinse?

Because you have fluoride in the toothpaste, you usually get well on it. However, if you know that you eat small amounts in periods when you are a cousin or for any other reason, you are at greater risk of getting caries, extra fluorine may be a good idea.

Fluorescents we no longer recommend as studies showed that they do not give such a high supplementary effect. Fluorine rinse is a good option when the need for extra fluorine treatment is required.

Recommended fluorine rinse preparations include Dentan 0.2% NaF and Flux 0.2% NaF.

Avoid Listerine or similar preprat – there is too little fluoride in these and they are often very strong for the mucous membranes in the mouth. A fluorine rinse for adults should contain 0.2% sodium fluoride to give the desired effect.

Smart turf maintenance tips

Smart turf maintenance tips

What’s not to love about a lawn? Our lawns provide a host of benefits to us, many that we probably take for granted. They provide us with green spaces for outdoor living and recreation, enhance the appearance and value of our homes, clean pollution from the air, cool our homes down and provide us with life-giving oxygen.

Lawns play an important role in biodiversity and have significant environmental benefits. Whether you have a tiny patch of grass or a huge green expanse, it makes sense to look after our lawns so they can look after and benefit us.

With a little care and attention your lawn will stay looking lush for many years, so read on for some smart turf maintenance tips to ensure the longevity of your lawn.

Water deeply but not often

Lawn watering

We all know lawns are thirsty, but that doesn’t mean we should overwater them. If turf gets too much water, it will weaken the structure of the grass, causing it to be easily damaged. As well, too frequent watering will result in grass with a shallow root system that is not able to tolerate dry conditions well.

Aim for deeper water penetration by watering less often and for longer to encourage deeper roots. Watering early in the day is best.

Watch out for signs of stress such as grass wilting, seeding or discolouring slightly, as that will tell you your lawn isn’t getting enough water. If your grass is growing excessively then you might need to water a little less until the grass is growing at a moderate rate while maintaining good condition.

Adjust your watering times until you get it right, and your lawn will reward you with a lush display of healthy greenness.

Mow regularly, at the right height

Regular mowing allows water to reach grass roots more easily and will reduce the build-up of thatch. Avoid the hottest times of the day and mow in the morning or afternoon to minimise lawn stress. Make sure you don’t mow too low, as this will often cause the grass to grow back faster and develop patchiness or brown spots.

Grass has an ideal cutting height for strong growth and good health, and you should mow your grass when it’s around 30% longer than this ideal height. The right height will allow your lawn to outcompete weeds and grow vigorously and healthily.

Fertilise regularly

It’s surprising how few homeowners fertilise their lawns, given how easy and beneficial it is. Regular fertilising will allow your lawn to become greener, tougher and more resistant to drought, weeds and pests. Apply a slow release fertiliser that’s right for your lawn variety and the time of year.

Follow the instructions on the packet to avoid any problems. For best results, feed your lawn three times a year – in early Spring, early Summer and mid to late Autumn. If you can only manage one application of fertiliser a year, do so in late Spring to early Summer.

Eradicate weeds, pests and diseases

remove weed

Identify the weeds that are plaguing your lawn so you can use the right treatment to target the specific problem, as using the wrong approach will do more harm than good. If you only have a few weeds, either dig them out by hand or spot treat them individually.

If the weeds are growing actively, use a lawn weed-and-feed spray that won’t harm the grass.

If left untreated, lawn pests and diseases will eventually take over the lawn and destroy it. As with weed treatment, all that’s needed is to identify the pest or disease afflicting the lawn and choose and apply the correct method of treatment.

Your local garden centre may be able to help you, or you can find a great deal of information online. Prevention is better than cure, so prevent pests and diseases from taking a hold in your lawn and you’ll find it much easier to maintain your lawn’s health.

Aerate the lawn

Grass can become flattened and lawns compacted if they are exposed to excessive foot or vehicle traffic over long periods of time. This makes it hard for grass roots to grow and water to penetrate the soil. But as the purpose of a lawn is to be walked and played on, this process will also occur naturally over time.

Keep an eye out for bare patches and compacted soil, and aerate the lawn every few years or whenever necessary, using a lawn coring machine or garden fork to agitate and break up the soil.

Allow sunlight in

All types of lawn need direct sunlight in order to survive and thrive, allowing the grass to photosynthesise nutrients from the soil. While different types of grass have different light requirements, they will all become sick if they are not getting enough sun. So if your lawn is not looking its best it might not be getting enough light.

Particularly in growing season, check that surrounding trees and bushes are not overhanging and shading the lawn; and give them a good pruning if they are. Your lawn will thank you.

Maintaining a lush and healthy lawn need not be expensive or difficult. Paying attention to what’s happening in your lawn is the first step, and undertaking a few simple actions to look after your lawn and deal with any problems should result in a healthy, attractive and usable lawn that you’ll be able to enjoy for years to come.

10 financial tips for young people

10 financial tips for young people

Going to school is one thing, but learning how to handle money comes from the lessons of life. Most people, unfortunately, have a bad idea how to handle their money and best manage their finances when they grow up. Here are 10 tips to help young adults get along.

There is, unfortunately, no lesson in the school called “Private Economics” or “Managing Money”. There should be some form of financial education in elementary school so that everyone can learn to pay bills, save money, make a budget and take care of their finances so that they feel safe.

Since there is no education in this vital subject (private economics is something that everyone must be able to participate in in some way during the course of life), we have tried to compile some good tips instead. It’s mixed tips to help you get an ordered economy. Some tips are more concrete while others are a bit wider.

1. Do not get on education

Getting a higher education helps you choose a career and prepare for it. When you graduate from high school you can continue by getting a college education. It may be the crucial difference between you and another candidate who is looking for the same position. This, of course, does not apply to all careers as there are a number of vocational programs that do not then require college / university. Being good at studying when you are young can make a big difference later in life, as you can get better jobs and often higher pay.

2. Understand your personal economy / make a budget

To handle what you have given you an understanding of how much money you have at your disposal. You make a budget, which means you enter what you earn each month and then you count all your expenses as carefully as you can. By deducting your expenses from the income, you will find out how much money you have after all payments have been paid, such as bills and food. It will give you the amount you can spend without worrying about your debts. Keep in mind, however, that saving is important, so do not worry about it.

3. Have a good save

Placing money off every month is an important part of a healthy economy. You can save money for many different things, for example, to the one you want to buy or do. If you do not save, you may not be able to buy a new car, television or go on the journey you’ve been looking for. However, it is absolutely important to save up to a buffer – which is money that is ready if something unforeseen happens that adversely affects the economy. The sparing money then acts as a security until you can figure out your finances.

4. Avoid unnecessary loans

You may think it’s easy to borrow money to afford to do what you want to do or buy what you want without having to wait. For example, many take SMS loans for this purpose. However, it is usually a bad and expensive idea. It is much better and safer to save up to what you want and buy it for already earned money. Then you do not risk falling into debt. You may not be able to get all things as fast but it is safer and will also be cheaper overall if you save money instead of borrowing.

Borrow loans for perfect investment:

Borrowing loans for future investments is always a good idea. Home loans, real estate investments are always the better option.

5. Check your costs

No matter how much you earn, you can also be indebted if you are not careful about how much money you spend. The most important thing in a private economy is that you do not survive your assets, so make sure your income exceeds your spending. Check your basic and fixed costs and consider if there is any possibility of reducing these. If not, be careful and make sure your monthly costs do not exceed your budget. Do not forget that there are often many small costs such as festive, coffee, candy etc that can be expensive per year.

6. Evaluate pension plans

Do not wait to plan your retirement until you reach the middle age. It may then be too late. You will not have time to build a good pension fund unless you start early, at the same time as your first job. If you are employed, you have a retirement pension, but it is also good to have a private pension savings to expense the checkout when you are retired. If you have your own business, it’s even more important to save your pension privately.

7. Credit card debt

Even if you do not take a loan, you can easily be blamed by using your credit cards too freely and often. Most credit cards have a shorter period without interest, but if you wait, interest will be added and it will be more expensive. Best is therefore to pay its debts directly every month. If you still get a credit card debt, make sure to pay upcoming costs in cash until the debt is paid off, so you do not increase your debt even more.

8. Learn about investments

If you have money over then consider an investment plan . You can invest in many things like funds, stocks, currencies or simply deposit the money into a savings account. You can help with an investment pro / advisor who can help you understand how much you can invest and how to do it safely, to get some help if you’re unsure.

9. Protect your assets

Whether you buy a house or apartment, make sure you do not pay too much. Obtain an insurance to protect your property and help determine if your rental or purchase contract is looking properly. A home insurance protects against most common accidents, etc. If you do not feel comfortable, talk to someone who is good at these things.

10. Be careful about what you buy

Choosing cheap products is not always the smartest one. Cheapest does not always mean the least cost over time. Make some real cost comparisons by considering how long the item will last and keep in mind long-term costs and maintenance. Good quality may cost a bit more initially but it is usually better in the long run. However, one should not only assume that expensive things are better, because that does not always apply. Compare properly and ask for advice.

Do pets and lawns mix?

Do pets and lawns mix?

Pets – we all love them, and they add a lot to our lives. In fact, we wouldn’t be without them. But if you also love gardening, and have a lawn that you cherish, you’ll know that often pets and your lawn don’t mix very well. If you’ve known the frustration of dealing with digging in your lawn, urine burn, faeces and the wear and tear caused by energetic animals, then you may be wondering if it’s all worth it. But relax, there are plenty of things you can do to prevent your pets from wreaking havoc on your lawn while still allowing them to enjoy their outside time.

Your choice of lawn

If it’s possible for you to choose your lawn before you let your pets loose on it, this will solve at least some of your problems. Dogs in particular can be very rough on lawns, using them as a racetrack, a playground, a toilet and a hiding place for bones. You need to choose a tolerant and pet friendly variety of turf that can stand all this activity and has a high tolerance for heavy traffic. Sir Walter DNA Certified lawn turf (a tough, soft leaf buffalo grass) is an ideal choice for pet owners, as it is self-repairing. Any holes or torn up grass will soon be covered up by the dense growth habit of Sir Walter DNA Certified lawn turf, leaving you with one less headache!

Urine burn

Urine burn is caused when dogs urinate on the lawn, essentially dousing it with highly concentrated nitrogen which scorches the grass, leading to unsightly dead, brown patches. While it’s nearly impossible to prevent your dog from urinating when and where they feel like it (although you can certainly attempt to train your dog to urinate in a designated area), you can try adding dog rocks to your dog’s water. These naturally occurring igneous rocks remove nitrates and tin which naturally occur in water – and hey presto – the burnt patches will disappear in most cases.

You can also try keeping a bucket or watering can full of water in a handy place and dilute the urine as soon as you notice it. Avoid letting you dog out on the lawn early in the morning too, as dog urine tends to be strongest first thing in the morning. Already existing urine burns will usually repair themselves within about five weeks. If you need your lawn to look better sooner than that, try using ColourGaurdTM,  a pet and environmentally-friendly natural turf grass colourant which is great at covering those urine stains. All you need to do is spray the product onto the affected area.

Digging

While choosing a self-repairing lawn turf will definitely help with this problem, sometimes replacing your lawn just isn’t practical. In these cases, you will need to try other tactics to prevent your dog from digging up the grass. Often digging is a sign that your dog is bored, so make sure you give your pet enough attention and exercise, and provide them with a few toys to keep them amused when they’ll be left alone. Work on their training as well, to try and prevent this behaviour. Choose a place where you don’t mind your dog digging and try burying a few treats there to encourage them to dig in an appropriate place.

Wear and tear

Bored or energetic dogs (and to a lesser extent smaller pets like cats, guinea pigs and rabbits) can cause a lot of wear in high-traffic areas of the lawn. In these cases, you may need to more regularly fertilise and aerate these areas of excessive activity to reduce the compaction caused. When fertilising the lawn, make sure you keep your pets away from that area for the length of time recommended on the product so your pet doesn’t get sick. Try also putting an obstacle, such as a pot plant, in areas of high use so that your pet is forced to continually take different paths and the lawn is given a break and the chance to repair itself.

Pet friendly lawn care

Always remember to check that anything you plant in your lawn or garden is non-toxic or safe for pets. Where possible, use organic or natural fertilizers, such as animal manure and non-chemical pesticides, to minimise the chance of your pet being harmed. And always read and follow safety directions on any chemical treatment or product used on your lawn, so you know when it’s safe for your pet to be allowed outside again. Before mowing or trimming your lawn, ensure your pets are kept somewhere safe away from the machinery.

So, don’t let your pets stop you from having a great lawn. Follow these few tips and you’ll find it’s definitely possible to love your lawn and your pet – without tearing your hair out!

Is your management ready for Digitalisation?

Is your management ready for Digitalisation?

Digital transformation is now on the table of every business management, and you agree that most companies will in some way be affected by new business models and revenue from digital processes. There are many Body corporate managers adopted digitalisation in Australia.

The prerequisite for success is that the owners, the board and the management must be aware of what it means to achieve successful results.
Today there is a lack of digital competence in boards and management teams. According to a current study, 80% of directors in Australian companies were asked about digital development, everyone agreed that development will affect business models.

“Everyone in the board and management must have digital skills.” But most are uncertain if they own such competence in boards and management teams.

Some companies have started triumphant and started the process than in most cases smaller companies. But to succeed, it is necessary to have support and backing from senior management.

The risk is that the traditional business model obscures the possibilities of the digital transformation and will be treated as a limited and limited project. Expertise in digital issues of many companies can point out that a failure will be realized. This is a problem and high demands on management’s self-awareness. Is it necessary for members of the management team and board without digital skills to be replaced?

Obviously, it is up to each to assess the risk factor. What, on the other hand, everyone must strive for is to build a culture where everyone is vulnerable to acquiring new knowledge and skills, not removing existing ones. Perhaps there are resources at the company that already work with digital processes, use these to share their knowledge. Then at least everyone can get an overall picture and an understanding of how all of this will change different parts of the company, and ultimately the result.

Pros and cons of dental implants

Pros and cons of dental implants

The pros and cons of dental implants have changed with new revolutionary materials

Previously, prostheses and fixed bridges were the usual options. They helped fill the dental cavities. But the pros and cons of dental implants have changed in recent years. Most of all thanks to their natural beautiful appearance. Dental implants really give a nice aesthetic result. But it’s more than cosmetic to replace your teeth.

If you consider dental implants probably you are looking for this Werribee dentist.

The materials we work have become much better in recent years. When looking at the pros and cons of dental implants today, one should think they are alive if you take care of them.

When a tooth is lost, the toothbone begins in the mouth that supports the tearing of the tooth. This can affect the face structure, including the mouth and its joints and muscles. Most of the teeth are missing. Remaining teeth are adversely affected. which causes problems with bites (alignment of the upper and lower teeth). This can lead to difficulty chewing and bad nutrition. Therefore, it is best to replace missing teeth as soon as possible.

Benefits of dental implants

A dental implant is a screw or frame made of titanium. Like any other material that supports a perfect replacement mode. Implantation is typically performed in several steps. The first visit is drilled in the dental bone and your dental implants are placed. implant in the dental bone where the new tooth will be placed. Three to six months later. After the screw has completely melted with the leg. Then a reconstructive dentist attaches a replacement. Till it a small metal post protruding from the implant.

Unlike bridges, implants do not trust on adjacent teeth for support. A great help to protect remaining teeth from damage. And unlike prostheses, bone loss is usually avoided. Thanks to the fact that dental implants actually replace the tooth and its root.

Implants look and act like real teeth. You do not have to “click” or speech and chew problems that may occur with prostheses. People with good health have the best chance of successful implants. Some health issues prevent patients from getting dental implants.

Success rates for dental implants are lower in smokers. Chronic conditions such as diabetes can delay healing.

You will take care of your implants in the same way you make your right teeth. Frequent oral hygiene and regular dental visits.

Disadvantages of dental implants

Getting dental implants is generally considered safe. However, as with all operations, complications may occur.

Here are some to consider:

  • Bleeding
  • Infection
  • Nerves
  • Sinuses or nasal cavities

Other points to remember:

■ Dental implants are not a quick solution. Several steps are involved. In addition, it includes waiting time up to six months. The healing period is required so that the implant melts together with the dental bone. A process called osseointegration. (A temporary tooth can be worn over the implant side.)

■ Infections may still occur. The toothpaste around the implant can be infected by bacteria that triggers per implantation. It is a periodontal disease that can lead to loss of bone.

■ Additional dental care may be required. If your tooth bone is weakened by osteoporosis. For example, the surgeon may graft the leg on the weakened part. Your sinusity may also need to be lifted ( sinus height ) if enlarged. Then it shoots into the area that needs a bone graft.

■ The pros and cons of dental implants are the prices. But in Australia, it is relatively cheap thanks to our high-cost protection.

Despite these pros and cons of dental implants, implants are a safe and reliable option for older adults. Surgery has a success rate of more than 95 percent. In addition, implants can significantly improve the quality of life.

Treating or replacing is the question?

Replacing already missing teeth with dental implants has known benefits. On the other hand, other situations are not as obvious. Extracting teeth in order to replace them with implants is a completely different situation. With that thought, the pros and cons of dental implants change. It should not normally be done without looking and trying to preserve the normal teeth.

A research group, in a review published in October 2013 expressed concern. Then because of the popularity of the procedure, clinics will replace teeth with implants, despite the lack of reason. Without just aesthetic reason, close consultation and counseling should be done with your dentist.

After analyzing 19 studies involving implants. Then researchers found that the survival rate of implants did not exceed it for teeth. Then it was about teeth that had been jeopardized but had been treated and maintained. The conclusions reached 15 years later led scientists to recommend preserving natural teeth. Taken as long as possible.

Our concern is the pros and cons of dental implants

Dental implants may be the best option for replacing teeth or inadequate prostheses. They have a natural appearance, better functionality and the ability to prevent bone loss. They can improve chewing ability, speech and self-confidence. In addition, dental implants are considered long-term reimbursements that may be life-long.

At the same time, bridges and removable prostheses may need to be replaced every seven to ten years.

For teeth that are not yet missing, it’s reasonable to try and maintain them for as long as possible. Surgery is not without risk and recovery of a sick tooth can always happen in the future if necessary. Of course, with a dental implant at that time.

Top 10 Favourite Watches

Top 10 Favourite Watches

Today, I will try to give myself the almost impossible task of choosing my personal favorite models at all times. I have chosen to be entirely out of my personal preferences and the list will be dominated by a few brands in particular. My all-time Favorite watches are from Adina men’s watches

Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5711P
Gerald Genta’s masterpiece Nautilius is in steel a dream watch. In the extremely limited version in platinum, it is a Graal. What makes it so amazing in my eyes is the fact that, instead of clearly distinguishing it with a completely different dial, it is rather very similar to the steel version (which is slightly darker blue / gray in the tone) and glides under the radar on a fantastic way. It is also a model that, apart from the rising price, is actually a perfect everyday watch.

Favourite watch 1

Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6241 “Paul Newman”
The clock in question may not need a detailed description. The ugly ankungen story of the clock model that was more or less mislead when launched and left unsold in the windows of the trades for years, but today it costs millions of prices at auction. My personal favorite of the model is ref. 6241 with black tachymeter ring, the cream white dial with black registers and so-called “pump pushers.

Favourite watch 2

Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar ref. 2438/1
One of history’s most beautiful watches in my personal sense is the eternal calendar of 2438 from Patek Philippe. The model is according to many little brothers to the 2499 chronograph version which gets the most attention and 2438 was produced in a small edition especially during the late 1950s. The size of 37mm, the symmetry of the design and the quality of the watch make it my favorite perception of history.

Favourite watch 3

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 5402st
Just like Nautilus, Gerald Genta’s Royal Oak is a masterpiece whose design proved to be stupid even after the 1970s. The model formed the basis of a brand new market segment and was the rescue of Audemars Piguet as a company. My favorite is the original 5402st from 1972.

Watch online

Omega Speedmaster ref. 2915
Omega’s iconic Speedmaster is primarily associated with the moon and NASA, but originally the model was actually designed for motorsport. The original version is called 2915-1 and features the characteristic “Broad Arrow Visors and Straight Boot Shape, which makes the watch a little bit nicer than the Professional Series from the late 60’s onwards.

Best watch

Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph ref. 2499
The holiest of the grail of many Pateks collectors is the eternity calendar and the chronograph 2499. The model in gold is extremely sought after and when one of 2 famous platinum albums was sold in November 2012 (and the seller happened to be a particular Mr. Eric Clapton) enthusiasts went to the ceiling.

Nice Watch

Rolex Submariner ref. 6538 “Big Crown” The
question of whether it was Submariner or Fifty Fathoms who was the first clean dive watch can be discussed for a long time. Whatever my favorite is, there is no doubt at all. Late Rolex launched its iconic diving watch in 1954, the model has been a benchmark for how dive watches in the market look like the fictional spies as well as the actual soldier’s wizard.

Rolex Watch

Cartier Tank
Cartier is, in my opinion, one of the most elegant and interesting options on the market. With amazing aesthetics as well as history, it’s a perfect choice for the truly formal moments. My favorite model is Tank, launched in 1920. The finest is the model in platinum that gives a luxurious but discreet feel to, for example, a tuxedo or a dark suit.

Good Watch

A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph ref. 401.026
German A. Lange & Söhne is really among the best in the market when it comes to finishes and watches. Although there are many worst models that cost significantly more, my favorite 1815-based originron chronicle had a pulse scale on the outer edge of the dial and a slightly smaller 39mm white gold-plated booth.

Technical SEO analysis

Technical SEO analysis

Technical SEO analysis of a website

On larger sites, technical problems are common and when your technical SEO does not work perfectly, it means you do not have a good chance of competing on Google’s search engine.

The infrastructure of a website is about the technology of both the hardware and the software that drives your website and your online presence. If your site does not work as it is thought, for example, that it is slow or has a lot of errors then the entire site is affected.

A technical analysis means that we investigate the site for issues that search engines get when they spindle the site. Many sites have technical issues like remarks, redirects, url parameters, sitemaps, noindex, robot.txt files and canonical tags or editorial things that need to be arranged as too little amount of text on a particular page or duplicate content. In Google Search Console, you can see a subset of the errors that Google is complaining about.

What does a search engine optimiser do when doing a technical SEO analysis?

A technical analysis may contain several different parts.

  • Always start by checking the robots.txt file located on the root of the server. The Robots.txt file is the first file Google visits to a site and there may be issues like an entire site is disabled from being viewed.
  • Information structure (Sitemaps, internal link structure, menus, 404-or). Often, you need to clean up a website and make sure that 404 pages are removed and pointed to working pages.
  • Code optimisation (html code and features)
  • Site speed (compression, style-sheet minimization and javascript, CDNs, etc.)
  • Error management of technical faults (see below)
  • IP address – The site may be on a web host that has multiple sites on the same IP address, which affects performance but also that it may be a site that has received spam alerts on the same IP.
  • The site may be located in a location far from the target audience
  • The site may use its own caching mechanisms at the web provider (such as Varnish), which means that it is not possible to use https with external CDN services like Cloud Flare.
  • Indexing – Is the site indexed in Google and Bing in a good way?
  • Availability – missing metadata, they are too long or short meta descriptions
  • Information structure – Is the site built based on the keywords we want to optimise against.
  • Duplicated content – so the search engines cannot determine which page is the one you want to rank on. It may be that you cut and paste from other pages or that there are development servers that are out online and should have been hidden.
  • Anchor text in links pointing to different pages.
  • Strong pages on one’s own site where content is deleted and where it indicates linkage.
  • Redirects pages that point incorrectly. It is very common, for example, to change the platform that you have not taken care of the corrections correctly.

Other components included in the technical SEO are speed, mobile adaptation. Often, you work with tools like Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools in combination with an arsenal of different SEO tools.

Technical onsite SEO audit

Scanning a site for errors is the first step when you do a technical SEO analysis and take a few minutes. What takes time is to prioritize different parts of what is most important and to put up in project management systems. Correctly, errors are found in working methods on the web-based action when creating information, which means possibilities for improving routines and processes.

SEO Analysis

Image: Examples of violations. Often sites have thousands of errors that need to be cleaned and one goal can be to reduce the number of errors. A site that has a few years on the neck usually has a lot of errors in link building that has arisen when changes have been made.

In the above example:

Those marked with red crosses are major SEO issues.

The <img> tag does not have an ALT attribute defined. Photos lacking all descriptions – An all description is a piece of HTML code that is a text description of an image that will be displayed when the image itself is not displayed on the screen, giving your photos better visibility on the organic. When the images are optimised, it is important if there is a word that has high competition. For example, if there is a logotype that lacks all descriptions, the error will be on each page.

The page contains a large amount of script code: is a bad error especially if you have a cache mechanically, but you can, for example, minimize HTML, javascript and CSS files. Remove HTML comments or use a better and easier theme.

The description is missing. The meta description that Google lists in their searches are great to customize so you get a text that people click on. In WordPress, the Yost plugin may be incorrectly configured, but it is very often web publishers who do not use meta descriptions, which is the first thing Google shows when users search for a word.

If there is no meta description, then Google will add and add it. Meta descriptions are of no importance to SEO: N, but on the other hand, what CTR you have on organic search.

The page contains unnecessary redirects. Unnecessary remarks – many sites have remarks (301: or 302: or) from the first page, but there are also pages that you need to fix. 301 reminders are usually the most appropriate method of referring visitors.

The page contains multiple <H1> tags. H1 or is the largest heading level and there should only be one on each page.

Invalid markup – This is when the site is not coded to 100%.

The page contains multiple canonical formats. It should only be on one page and canonical is used to point out the page that visitors want to access. When a site has pages with identical content or multiple URLs for the same page, it is possible to use canonical URLs to show Google which page is the main source of content.

The page contains broken hyperlinks. Broken hypertext links make the site not as good quality. If it’s really bad, these are on the first page or in the menus. In WordPress, there is a plugin like Broken Link Checker that helps you find wrong external pages.

The title is too long. The title is too long.

The URL for the hyperlink is broken. Of course, there are corrected links that do not work. It may be that you have entered the wrong domain or that the site you have pointed out has been deleted or renamed.

Large parts with script code – often compress and merge code.

The <h1> tag is missing. <h1>: a is the title and you should have a header per page according to the HTML specification. However, it has no correlation with your ranking but lower heading levels that <h4> may have.

There are too many references for this resource. You should not have excessive menu systems and links in the footer if you have a small site. Google’s official recommendation is a maximum of 100 links on one page, while Searchmetric’s study of ranking factors 2015 points to 150 links being max.

The page contains invalid markup. There are online tools that you can use to verify that the HTML code is good and minimize the number of errors.

The page was excluded by a noindex attribute. On major sites, it’s not uncommon to put noindex which means telling Google to not visit the page.

The page contains too many hyperlinks.  Often the error is that you have a large footer text with lots of links or large navigation menus.

The title is missing – big and grossly wrong because the title describes what the page is about which means a lot for your ranking.

The redirection response results in redirection. Refreshments are never good. There are Chrome plugins as redirection path, where you can see the issue more clearly if it’s a reminder from the homepage. I have seen projects where you have had multiple remarks from the first page, with the result that Google was unable to read the page.

Link audits and check external links

Importance of continually cleaning and removing low-quality links

In addition to the technical SEO analysis, we also audit the links that go to your website and to different landing pages. It may be about the low quality of links that you do not control but that harm your site. If your site has been hacked, it’s not uncommon that there are several external links that need to be removed with Google Disawow links . It may be that the site has been subjected to a man-in-the-middle attack where the hacker tries to get linkage to their own sites.
